OUR SUCCESS, YOUR PARTICIPATION!

Above all, the Truck Pulling and Acceleration Competition at St-Joseph de Beauce is a non profit organization. Part of the proceeds is given to charitable causes such as the Heart Foundation, Saint-Vincent de Paul, les Cadets de l'air and much more...

The event’s founder and driving force is Benoît Gagné, owner of Patrick Gagné et fils Inc., an excavation and snow-removal company firmly established in Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce since 1970. His straight talk, integrity and determination in finishing what he starts are well-known. Born into a trucking family, he shares his passion and has turned it into a family activity. In 2008, he became president of the Regroupement des festivals de camions lourd du Quebec (Quebec Big Rig Racing Festival Group).

The TRUCK PULLING AND ACCELERATION COMPETITION came into being in 2004. It owes its success to the efforts of sponsors, volunteers, visitors and especially the competitors. In the beginning, the competition attracted over 10,000 visitors a day. Now, over 25,000 visitors from all over Canada and much of the United States visit daily. Competitors come from all over Québec, Ontario, New Brunswick and parts of the United States.

Whether it is for the truck parade, the acceleration and pulling competitions (loaded or bobtail), or the many activities and prizes, this is ONE EVENT NOT TO BE MISSED!
